How To Implement a Successful Mobile Strategy

Posted on 18 Jun 2014

It’s scary to think that it has been six years since Apple launched the App Store. At the time it was only consumers who were getting used to the idea of using apps. Six years on and it is reported that 90% of Fortune 500 companies are deploying or testing the iPad[1] as enterprises realise that having a successful mobile strategy is vital to achieving workforce mobility.

Today I’m proud to announce the release of the first in a series of ShinobiControls white papers focused on the mobile revolution taking place within enterprises.

The decision to ‘go mobile’ invokes many challenges. For Enterprises it can increase productivity, reduce errors and provide real-time business intelligence anywhere, any time. However, get it wrong, and all your investment and IT infrastructure can be reduced to ashes.

Whilst the general consensus suggests the relatively new concepts of Legacy Mobility and Integrated Mobility are the only two strategies to consider when going mobile, is this really the case?

Delivering a strategic insight and using our years of mobile app development expertise this white paper entitled ‘Winning Mobile Strategies: How to Build Value in the Enterprise’ will focus on:

  • Describing in detail the relatively new concepts of Legacy Mobility vs Integrated Mobility

  • The benefits and challenges involved when adopting either strategy.

  • How different sectors including Retail, Healthcare, Operations Management and Education are reacting to the mobile revolution.

  • Further factors to consider when developing and deploying your strategy.

And of course if you have any comments, opinions or feedback please get in touch as I would love to hear your thoughts.
